Report a Problem?

Any person or organisation may lodge a complaint about any aspect of the Municipality’s operations and services. To lodge a complaint, please contact us through any of the following methods:

  • Visit the closest Municipal office
  • Call us on (044) 302 6300
  • Email us at customercare@knysna.gov.za
  • Sms us on 44453
  • Write to us at PO Box 21, Knysna, 6570

Please supply the following information:

  • Full details of complainant (name, surname, address, cellular number, email address)
  • Nature of the incident
  • Address of the incident

Once a complaint has been lodged, the customer will receive a reference number via sms. The time frame to resolve the complaint is contained in the municipality’s Service Standards Charter.
