Assets other than those utilised to provide basic services may be disposed of – subject to Council approval, or in terms of delegated authority.
The Supply Chain Management Department shall with regard to acquisitions and disposals of assets ensure that all obsolete or damaged assets are disposed of as per the requirements of the SCM Policy.
